A Women's Wellness Pop-Up at SOMETHING IN THE WATER

High Tide and Get Well Soon have teamed up to produce this one-day women's wellness pop-up which is the first event of The Flower Power Series. The pop-up is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 16th, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm ET at Yours Truly DC Hotel. The pop-up is an official 2022 Something in the Water Festival Event and has been carefully curated to provide participants with the opportunity to connect with other like-minded women, learn, reflect, relax and leave feeling reenergized.

Attendees can participate in activities proven to enhance emotional and physical well-being. The pop-up will also educate and build awareness around the myriad of health benefits cannabis can offer. The day will close with a special treat, a Girl Talk: "It's Time to Check-In" featuring the owners of Get Well Soon, Virginia Thornton and Zahra Ahmad.

All registrants will receive a special VIP gift as a gesture of gratitude and to keep the good energy flowing well after the event ends.

Get Well Soon was founded by Virginia Thornton and Zahra Ahmad to cater to a need they saw in themselves and in their community. Both founders suffered anxiety and depression in silence due to major life events such as loss and relocation. After realizing that many of their friends and family experienced similar issues, both Virginia and Zahra made a commitment to creating a fun and welcoming environment for self-care and healing. Get Well Soon offers a variety of services, classes, events, and more to help clients achieve healthier minds and bodies.

High Tide, founded by Antonio Dowe and Nathaniel "FAM-LAY" Johnson was created to educate and build awareness around the myriad of health and business opportunities in cannabis available in legal markets to date. The brand aims to actively dispel cannabis-related misconceptions and ensure equitable opportunities within the industry. The High Tide network is comprised of a diverse group of state (VA) and national activists, thought leaders, government officials, business and healthcare professionals, civil rights organizations, veterans, and environmentalists to discuss the most pressing cannabis policy challenges and opportunities.
